Affiliate Terms

Commission

Approved affiliates earn 30% of the sale price, one time, on each qualifying purchase made through their link: single reports and credit packs alike. Commissions are calculated on the amount actually paid, before taxes and after any discounts.

Tracking

Affiliate links set a 30-day cookie in the visitor's browser; the most recent affiliate link clicked gets the credit. A purchase qualifies when it completes inside that window from the same browser. We do not credit sales retroactively for visitors who cleared cookies, used another device, or arrived without your link.

Holds, refunds, and payouts

Each commission is held for 30 days from the sale to cover refunds and payment disputes; a refunded or disputed sale voids its commission. After the hold, your balance becomes available.

Available balance pays out via PayPal once it reaches $50, normally in the first week of each month, to the PayPal email on your dashboard. At any time you may instead convert available balance into TrulyCar report credits at one credit per $8.00, with no minimum; remainders carry over. Balances owed are not interest-bearing.

United States affiliates may be asked to complete a Form W-9 before payouts totaling $600 or more in a calendar year; we may withhold payouts until it is provided.

What is not allowed

Referring yourself, your own household, or accounts you control. Bidding on TrulyCar brand terms (or misspellings) in paid search. Coupon-site style browser extensions or forced-click placements. Spam, cookie stuffing, and inserting your code into traffic you did not genuinely refer. Any of these voids the related commissions and may suspend the account.

Disclosure

Wherever you share affiliate links, you must clearly disclose the relationship, as the FTC's Endorsement Guides require. A plain sentence near the link, such as "I earn a commission if you buy through this link", satisfies this. You may not present yourself as TrulyCar itself, use our name in a way that implies you are us, or make claims about the product beyond what our site states.

The program

Applications are reviewed manually and may be declined without reason. We may change commission rates, cookie windows, or these terms prospectively with notice on this page; commissions already earned keep the terms they were earned under. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with earned, unviolated commissions still paid. Questions: contact@trulycar.com.
